Elk River Public Library Board <br />April 27th, 2021 <br />Page 4 <br />past year with the City Administrator as far as their mission, goals, <br />etc. Commissioner Boelter suggested that the board focus on the <br />bottom portion of the page referencing their standing agenda, <br />mission, and goals. This would be the portion that says, Connect, <br />Support, Promote etc. Commissioner Keifenheim suggested that <br />portion be made into a bookmark that could be given to the City <br />Council at the presentation. Chair Dreissig also suggested including <br />the raingarden plan. Mr. Hecker said he could help with bookmark <br />idea by offering up his staff to work on the graphic portion. Chair <br />Dreissig said she would work with Mr. Hecker on this. Commissioner <br />Boelter ask Secretary Larson to confirm the date with the board as it <br />gets closer. Secretary Larson let the board know that she would also <br />have to post a quorum if the whole board would be attending the <br />meeting. Councilmember Christianson explained that anyone <br />attending the meeting would have plenty of space to be apart. There <br />is room in the chambers, hallway, lobby, and even in a separate room <br />if needed. <br />■ Chair Dreissig suggested a smaller committee to prepare the report <br />for the meeting. Commissioner Boeher suggested Chair Dreissig and <br />Commission Mkeifenheim since they had been on the board the <br />longest. Chair Dreissig and Commissioner Keifenheim agreed to get <br />together and prepare the presentations. <br />5.2 Old Business <br />5.4 Patron Services Supervisors Report <br />■ Mr. McCormick presented his staff report. <br />5.5 Library Services Coordinator Report <br />* Mrs. Schake presented her report. She expanded more on the story <br />strolls with Sherburne County. She said that once the results come in <br />from this year it could be discussed to possibly partner with the City <br />of Elk River and touch base with Karen Wingard for 2022. <br />6. Announcements <br />■ Councilmember Christianson gave some updates on city plans. <br />Construction will be happening on highway 10, 169, and Fire station <br />2 and Fire station 3. Orono Park will also be under construction. <br />The City Council is also working on the comprehensive plan for the <br />future of the city. He also offered the board to feel free to reach out <br />to him if they ever have any questions. Secretary Larson did not have <br />a City Council Report on the agenda this time but will add it back <br />onto the agenda next time. <br />7. Adjournment <br />E/IEIEI I <br />N; ATLI? <br />
