Elk River Public Library Board April 27th, 2021 Page 4 past year with the City Administrator as far as their mission, goals, etc. Commissioner Boelter suggested that the board focus on the bottom portion of the page referencing their standing agenda, mission, and goals. This would be the portion that says, Connect, Support, Promote etc. Commissioner Keifenheim suggested that portion be made into a bookmark that could be given to the City Council at the presentation. Chair Dreissig also suggested including the raingarden plan. Mr. Hecker said he could help with bookmark idea by offering up his staff to work on the graphic portion. Chair Dreissig said she would work with Mr. Hecker on this. Commissioner Boelter ask Secretary Larson to confirm the date with the board as it gets closer. Secretary Larson let the board know that she would also have to post a quorum if the whole board would be attending the meeting. Councilmember Christianson explained that anyone attending the meeting would have plenty of space to be apart. There is room in the chambers, hallway, lobby, and even in a separate room if needed. ■ Chair Dreissig suggested a smaller committee to prepare the report for the meeting. Commissioner Boeher suggested Chair Dreissig and Commission Mkeifenheim since they had been on the board the longest. Chair Dreissig and Commissioner Keifenheim agreed to get together and prepare the presentations. 5.2 Old Business 5.4 Patron Services Supervisors Report ■ Mr. McCormick presented his staff report. 5.5 Library Services Coordinator Report * Mrs. Schake presented her report. She expanded more on the story strolls with Sherburne County. She said that once the results come in from this year it could be discussed to possibly partner with the City of Elk River and touch base with Karen Wingard for 2022. 6. Announcements ■ Councilmember Christianson gave some updates on city plans. Construction will be happening on highway 10, 169, and Fire station 2 and Fire station 3. Orono Park will also be under construction. The City Council is also working on the comprehensive plan for the future of the city. He also offered the board to feel free to reach out to him if they ever have any questions. Secretary Larson did not have a City Council Report on the agenda this time but will add it back onto the agenda next time. 7. Adjournment E/IEIEI I N; ATLI?
