Incident Report 19022947 - MN0710200 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />an approximately six month old female dog which she wants to train as a service dog for herself. After <br />showing me the dogs she returned them to the basement. <br />told me that her husband is deployed until May of 2020. When he returns, she said they want to <br />move out of the city to an acreage lot. I explained to that she had too many dogs per city <br />ordinance. She was familiar with a private kennel license and we discussed that process. <br />After leaving the residence I advised city hall staff of the situation and they sent an application for <br />a private kennel. license. <br />On 12-5-19 , city hall staff advised me that had not met a December 4th deadline to apply for a <br />private kennel permit. <br />On 12-6-19 I spoke by phone with and asked if she had received the letter from city hall. She told <br />me she hadn't and we made arrangements for her to pick it up on 12-9 at city hall. During this conversation I <br />asked � how much time the dogs spend in the basement. She told me that she puts them down there <br />when company is over to avoid any problems with them. Otherwise the dogs are upstairs. also <br />told me she has a contract with a dog waste company which regularly picks up the backyard. <br />On 6-15-20 I called and spoke with - about her dogs. She told me she has the three adult dogs and <br />three younger dogs which are now a year old. She said she is planning on finding a home for one of the one <br />year olds. I asked if she planned on keeping the rest and she said that she is: <br />After speaking with I called and spoke with her husband, <br />I had learned from that he was home from military deployment.
