After showing me the dogs she returned them to the basement. told me that her husband is deployed until May of 2020. When he returns, she said they want to move out of the city to an acreage lot. I explained to that she had too many dogs per city ordinance. She was familiar with a private kennel license and we discussed that process. After leaving the residence I advised city hall staff of the situation and they sent an application for a private kennel. license. On 12-5-19 , city hall staff advised me that had not met a December 4th deadline to apply for a private kennel permit. On 12-6-19 I spoke by phone with and asked if she had received the letter from city hall. She told me she hadn't and we made arrangements for her to pick it up on 12-9 at city hall.
