<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Any person, firm or corporation violating any provlslons of <br />this Article shall be fined not less than $700 for each offense. <br /> <br />1302.24 - EFFECTIVE DATE OF RATES <br /> <br />The rates and service charges established for user charges in <br />Section 1302 shall be effective as of the next fiscal year <br />beginning January 1 and on bills to be rendered for the next <br />succeeding billing period. <br /> <br />1302.26 - VALIDITY <br /> <br />If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this <br />ordinance shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any <br />reason, the invalidity or unenforceability of such section, <br />paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect any of the <br />remaining provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br />1302.28 - POWERS AND AUTHORITY OF ENFORCING AGENTS <br /> <br />1. The City shall be permitted to gain access to such <br />properties as may be necessary for the purpose of inspection, <br />maintenance and repair, observation, measurement, sampling and <br />testing, in accordance with provisions of these regulations. <br />Any person found to be violating any provisions of this <br />ordinance shall be served by the City with written notice <br />stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable <br />time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. Any person <br />who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit shall be <br />guilty of violation of the service contract and shall be <br />temporarily disconnected from the sanitary sewer and/or water <br />service. Such disconnection and reconnection would be at the <br />total expense of the customer. <br /> <br />2. Where acids and chemicals damaging to sewer lines or <br />treatment processes are released to the sewer causing rapid <br />deterioration of these structures or interfering with proper <br />treatment of sewage, the City is authorized to immediately <br />terminate service by such measures as are necessary to protect <br />the facilities. <br /> <br />3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the <br />provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor <br />and upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more <br />than $700. Each day of each violations shall be deemed a <br />separate offense. Any person violating any of the provisions <br />of this ordinance shall become liable to the City for any <br />expense, loss or damage occasioned by the City by reason of <br />such violation. <br /> <br />4. Any additional costs caused by discharges to the treatment <br />works of toxics or other incompatible wastes, including the <br />costs of restoring wastewater treatment services, cleanup and <br />
