<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />premises, occupant, and user of the service are jointly liable <br />therefore to the City. <br /> <br />Bills for sewer service shall be sent out by the City on the <br />last day of each quarter for which the service is billed. <br /> <br />All sewer bills are due and payable 30 days after being sent <br />out. A penalty of ten percent (10%) shall be added to all <br />bills not paid by the 30th day after they have been rendered. <br /> <br />3. Delinquent Bills: If the charges for such services are not <br />paid within 60 days after the rendition of the bill for such <br />services, such services may be discontinued without further <br />notice and shall not be reinstated until all claims are settled. <br /> <br />1302.14 - CHARGES AS LIEN <br /> <br />Each charge levied pursuant to this ordinance shall be a lien <br />against the property, and all such charges due on September 30 <br />of each year which are more than thirty (30) days past due, <br />notice having been properly mailed to the occupant or owner of <br />the premises, shall be certified by the Council to the County <br />Auditor, which shall specify the amount thereof, the <br />description of the premises, and the name of the owner <br />thereof. The amount so certified shall be collected and <br />remitted to the City in the same manner as assessments for <br />local improvements. <br /> <br />1302.16 - CIVIL ACTION <br /> <br />Any charges levied hereunder which have been properly sent to <br />the occupant or owner and not paid may be recovered in a civil <br />action by the City in any court or competent jurisdiction. <br /> <br />1300.18 - FUNDS FROM SEWER SERVICE CHARGES <br /> <br />The funds received from the collection of charges authorized by <br />this ordinance shall be deposited as collected in the City <br />Wastewater Treatment System Operating Fund and shall be used <br />for the operation, maintenance, debt service, replacement and <br />improvement of the City wastewater disposal system. <br /> <br />1302.20 - NOTICE OF RATES <br /> <br />A certified copy of this article properly certified by the City <br />Clerk-Treasurer shall be filed in the office of the Register of <br />Deeds of Sherburne County and shall be deemed notice to all <br />owners of real estate of the charges of the sewage system of <br />said City on their properties. <br /> <br />1302.22 - PENALTY <br />
