<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />14. It is acknowledged that adjustments are required within the <br />Building Inspections Department. <br /> <br />A.) A current employee has received additional certificiation <br />to inspect commercial facilities. Pay adjustments will <br />be made to reflect increased responsibility. Effective <br />January 1, 1987, this will be an Exempt position. The <br />1987 Annual Salary will be $25,500.00 and the new title <br />will be Assistant Building Official. <br /> <br />B.) Due to increased workload in the Building and Zoning <br />Department, an additional Building Inspector will be <br />hired at an annual salary of $20,000.00 effective January <br />5, 1987. After successfully completion of a one (1) year <br />probationary period the 1988 annual salary will be <br />$22,500.00. <br /> <br />15. To encourage continuing education for City Employees, the City <br />will reimburse one half of the tuition fee to employees for <br />successfully completed classes directly related to their position <br />with the City. Any such class must be taken on employee time <br />and receive written approval by the City Administrator before <br />tuition reimbursement will be made. <br /> <br />16. It is acknowledged that in accordance with the Comparable <br />Worth Law, adjustments must be made prior to October 1, 1987, <br />in order that the City be in compliance with this law. The <br />two bases for adjustments according to the Comparable Worth <br />Law are market comparisons and internal relationships. <br />
