If you are eligible for both unpaid MN parental leave and any paid vacationor long-term <br />disability insurance, you must use this paid time off or salary continuation benefit during <br />any MN parental leave period up to the amount needed to cover the entire parenting leave. <br />Following leave under this policy, an employee will be reinstated to his or her same job or <br />one with comparable duties, hours, and pay. <br /> <br />53. MINNESOTA SICK FAMILY MEMBER OR SAFETY LEAVE <br />A Minnesota employee who has worked for the Utilities for at least 12 months and who <br />has worked at least one-half (1/2) time during the past twelve (12) months may use his or <br />her accrued sick time to, stepchild, foster <br />child, adopted child, adult child, spouse, sibling, parent, parent-in-law, stepparent, <br />grandparent, or grandchild (including a biological, step, foster, or adopted grandchild) for <br />cessary.
