Utilities Bulletin Boards.The Utilities in its discretion may permit employees to <br />distribute written material by posting on Utilities bulletin boards in accordance <br />with this policy, provided that any material for such posting must be reviewed and <br />approved in advance by a Utilities manager or Director, who may consult with the <br />Human Resources Representative before making a decision whether or not to <br />allow the posting. <br />Solicitation and Distribution on Utilities Computer and E-Mail Systems. <br />Employees and non-employees are prohibited from using Utilities computer <br />systems and other property and resources, including the Utilities e-mail system, <br />for solicitation or distribution, except in connection with a Utilities-sponsored <br />activity or, with advance approval of the on-site supervisor, on behalf of a third <br />party that is not engaged in commercial, for-profit, or political activity. <br />Any employee in violation of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action up to and <br />including discharge. <br />16. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS: INTERNET, E-MAIL, AND <br />SOCIAL MEDIA <br />This policy covers all types of electronic communications. All Utilities computers, <br />software, servers, computer systems, cell phones and telephone systems and other <br />Utilities business. While occasional use of these systems for personal, non-business use is <br />acceptable, employees must demonstrate a sense of responsibility and may not abuse such <br />privileges. <br />whether work-related or personal, is subject to monitoring and review by the Utilities at <br />any time, with or without notice or permission. Employees should have no expectation of <br />privacy in the use of these systems. The use of passwords on these systems does not mean <br />that messages stored on them are private or confidential, either from the Utilities or others. <br />This policy covers all usage and communications <br />Electronic Communications Systems, including e-mail, voice-mail, Internet and social <br />remote location. This policy also coverselectronic communications not done in, on, or <br />employee.
