Parks&Recreation Commission Minutes Page 3 <br />June 13,2018 <br />Commissioner Rathbun amended motion with combining of projects that serve all <br />the needs of the facility and parks and trails combined would be a commitment at <br />the level of the community center project. <br />Commissioner Niziolek doesn't want to cap anything because all the members of <br />the community need to be represented. <br />Motion failed 5-2. <br />Moved by Commissioner Williams and seconded by Commissioner Holmgren to <br />recommend to City Council the Multi-Purpose project number two in addition to <br />the park and trail projects commission identifies as priorities. <br />Commissioner Niziolek shared he is concerned this is not representing community <br />as a whole. <br />Motion carried 6-1. <br />5.5 Athletic Facilities Master Plan <br />Mr. Hecker presented his staff report. <br />Moved by Commissioner Soltvedt and seconded by Commissioner Williams to <br />recommend to City Council to accept the Athletic Facilities Master Plan with the <br />amendment to the Youth Athletic Complex to have a playground on the north <br />complex. Motion carried 7-0. <br />5.6 Park and Trail Project Priorities <br />Commission member discussed at the Special Meeting. <br />6. Discussion Items - None <br />7.
