<br />RESOLUTION #05-_ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL FOR THE <br />ELK RIVER YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The Elk River Youth Hockey Association has made <br />application to the State Gambling Control Board for a <br />Premises Permit Renewal; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Premises Permit will allow charitable gambling on the <br />premises of McCoys Pub (which is the former Mitch Miller's <br />Olde Town Tavern) located at 651 Main Street in the City of <br />Elk River until June 30, 2006; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The Elk River Youth Hockey Association has met the city's <br />requirement of spending 75 percent of its lawful <br />expenditures within the city's trade area during the past two <br />years. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River, Minnesota that a Premises Permit be granted to The Elk River <br />Youth Hockey Association to allow charitable gambling operations at McCoys <br />Pub located at 651 Main Street in the City of Elk River, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 1st day of August 2005. <br /> <br />Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br />
