than 960 hours may donate only sick leave. The employee must complete a Leave Donation Fora to donate <br />leave. All donations mare anonymous. <br />Donated leave will be paid at the recipient's current rate of pay. Donated hours do not qualify to be <br />included as part of sick leave for the severance pay calculation. <br />This policy applies on a prorated basis for part-time employees eligible for sick leave. <br />In the event of a mandatory or recommended quarantine «�because of a public health event, <br />the city administrator may use his/her discretion to allow leave donation when the leave is not <br />concurrent with FMLA. <br />Holiday Leave <br />Regular, full-time employees are eligible to receive pay for the following holidays: <br />■ New Year's Day <br />■ Martin Luther King, Jr. Day <br />■ Presidents Day <br />■ Memorial Day <br />■ Independence Day <br />■ Labor Day <br />■ Veterans Day <br />■ Thanksgiving -Day <br />■ Friday after Thanksgiving <br />■ Christmas Eve <br />■ Christmas Day <br />Part-time employees will receive paid holidays on the same basis as regular, full-time employees, except <br />that holiday pay will be pro -rated according to the number of hours worked. To be eligible, part-time <br />employees must work a set schedule with a minimum of forty (40) hours per biweekly pay period. <br />Most Ttemporary and seasonal employees are not eligible for holiday pay. <br />EFof employees working a Monday through Friday workweek, holidays occurring on Saturday are e <br />observed the preceding Friday and holidays occurring on Sunday are observed on the following <br />Monday. <br />When a holiday falls during an employee's vacation or sick leave, the employee will not be charged with <br />vacation or sick leave for the holiday hours; the hours will be considered holiday leave. <br />Although the city prefers that employees enjoy the observed holidays, emergencies may arise. If a non- <br />exempt employee is required by his/her supervisor to work on an actual holiday, the hours worked (in <br />addition to holiday pay) shall be paid as follows: <br />Regular, full-time and regular part-time employees shall be paid time ffid eae scheduled for <br />or called in to work on the actual holidays listed above shall receive one and one-half the <br />employee's regular rate of pay in addition to the holiday pay. <br />2. Employees performing emergency or mission critical snow removal shall be paid double time for <br />hours worked on a holiday.
