In the event of involuntary resignation or dismissal, severance pay <br />based on unpaid accrued vacation leave and three months salary shall <br />be paid to the City Administrator; however, in the event the City <br />Administrator is terminated because of his conviction of any illegal <br />act involving personal gain to him, the City shall have no obligation <br />to pay the aggregate severance sum designated in this paragraph. <br /> <br />10. Minnesota State Law provides City Administrators with a choice of <br />pension plans; PERA or a deferred compensation fund. The City of <br />Elk River will contribute to the qualified fund of the City Admini- <br />strator's choice a dollar amount equivalent to the required PERA <br />contribution. <br /> <br />11.
