<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 85-13 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THOMAS BUBLITZ AS CITY ADMINISTRATOR OF THE CITY OF ELK <br />RIVER AND ESTABLISHING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Elk River to provide <br />for the appointment of the City Administrator and to establish terms and <br />conditions of employment for the City Administrator; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River as follows: <br /> <br />1. Thomas Bublitz is hereby appointed as City Administrator of Elk <br />River effective May 28, 1985. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Bublitz shall perform the duties and meet the obligations for <br />the position of City Administrator as required by State Statue and <br />Section 202.02 of the Elk River City Code and other such legally <br />permissible and proper duties as the City Council may assign. <br /> <br />3. Mr. Bublitz's salary upon appointment shall be $36.400 per annum <br />and adjustment to the City Administrator's salary shall be reviewed <br />annually in conjunction with the establishment of salaries for City <br />employees. <br /> <br />4. The City Administrator shall be granted sick leave and holiday <br />benefits granted to other employees and commencing upon appointment <br />he will earn three weeks vacation per year. <br /> <br />5. In addition to the specific provisions covered in this resolu~ion <br />the City Administrator shall be entitled to all other employment <br />benefits provided to full time City employees by law, ordinance or <br />resolution. <br /> <br />6. The City shall furnish the City Administrator with a 24 hour City <br />owned automobile and provide for all costs of its operation. in- <br />cluding proper insurance coverages. <br /> <br />7. The City agrees to budget and pay for the professional dues and <br />subscriptions of the City Administrator necessary for his continu- <br />ation in full participation in national. regional, state and local <br />associations and organizations necessary and desirable for his <br />continued professional participation, growth and advancement and <br />for the good of the City. <br /> <br />8. In the event of resignation, notice thereof shall be submitted in <br />writing to the City Council at least 30 days prior to the effective <br />date. <br />
