The City's contribution to these
benefits for employees will be increased by $15.00 per
month from the 1989 level of $200.00 per month to $215.00
per month in 1990. Health insurance benefits will be
offered to all permanent employees scheduled to work an
average of 30 or more hours per week on a prorated basis.

9. When the Waste Water Treatment Plant Superintendent and
the Street/Park Superintendent are on vacation for at
least one continuous eight hour period, then at the
discretion of the Department Head, one employee in the
Waste Water Treatment Plant Department and up to two
employees in the Street/Park Department will receive an
additional $.50 per hour for functioning as the "Lead
Contact Worker." To encourage continuing education for city employees, the
City will reimburse 3/4 of the tuition fee to employees
for successfully completing classes directly related to
their position with the City. The City Council can make adjustments in any section of
the pay plan at any City Council meeting based on
compliance to the Comparable Worth Law, changes in
employment status, changes in work responsibility, or
based on performance incentives.
