samples will be cured for 24 hours on site then collected by a representative to transport to our <br />facility for curing and compression at 7 and 28 days. <br />STEEL INSPECTION: Inspections of the welded and bolted structural steel will be conducted to <br />verify conformance with the drawings and industry standards. Structural steel members and decking <br />will be periodically inspected for conformance of plan drawings and project specifications as the <br />building is being constructed. <br />EPDXY DOWEL INSPECTION: Inspections will be conducted during epoxy dowel placement <br />operations. We will be on -site during various stages of construction to observe and verify the proper <br />materials are utilized and placed according to the project specifications. The dowels and anchors will <br />be inspected in various locations for conformance during both concrete and masonry construction. <br />FIRESTOPPING/SEALANT INSPECTION: Inspections will be conducted on various assemblies for <br />openings and penetrations to ensure proper firestopping and sealing is achieved. The construction <br />documents will be reviewed and utilized during inspections and reporting. <br />BITUMINOUS TESTING: The testing of bituminous will include mixture properties, asphalt binder <br />content and core testing for density and thickness. Two (2) tests are to be conducted for each of the <br />listed items. The sampling and test procedures will be carried in accordance with MnDOT Schedule <br />of Materials Control (2018). <br />INFILTRATION TESTING: One (1) Double Ring Infiltrometer Test will be conducted on the <br />excavated subgrade in accordance with ASTM D3385 in the proposed infiltration pond area. <br />ADDITIONAL SPECIAL INSPECTIONS: Special inspections related to EIFS and Floor Flatness will <br />be conducted per the specifications and applicable code. Reports outlining our findings will be <br />submitted upon completion of the installation of these various building components. <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />The lead project consultant for this project will be Chuck Ackerman. Chuck is based out of <br />our Waite Park office and will head the project's daily operations. Tyler Burkes, EIT and <br />Patrick Johnson, PE, who are also located at our main office in Waite Park, will aid Chuck as <br />integral members of the project management team. The services provided for this project will be <br />closely monitored by them as construction proceeds to ensure that necessary special inspection and <br />testing procedures are conducted in accordance with project specifications. All laboratory testing <br />and coordination will be based out of our Waite Park office. <br />Reports of individual test results and various summaries of observations and inspections will be sent <br />daily to the project owner, the construction general contractor (To Be Determined) and any other <br />necessary parties within 24 hours. Reports can be submitted electronically and/or via USPS based <br />on your preference. <br />
