2. Notice has been duly published so required by law that this Council would meet in regular <br />session at this time and place to pass on the proposed assessment. <br />3. Said proposed assessments have at all times since its filing been open to inspection and <br />copying by all persons interested and an opportunity has been given to all interested person <br />to present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment, or to any item thereof, and <br />objections have been filed. <br />4. The assessments specified in the proposed assessments are changed and altered as follows: <br />No Changes or Alterations. <br />5. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces or parcels of land enumerated in said <br />proposed assessment was and is specially benefited by the construction of said sewer in <br />Sewer District No. 1 in the amount in said proposed assessment set opposite the description <br />of each such lot, piece or parcel of land respectively, and that said amount so set out is herby <br />levied against each of the respective lots, pieces or parcels of land therein described. <br />6. Such proposed assessment is affirmed, adopted and confirmed and the sums fixed and ___ <br />in said proposed assessments, with the changes of alterations herein above made, are <br />affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, <br />pieces or parcels of land respectively. <br />7. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shall be certified to by the Village Clerk <br />and filed in his office and shall thereupon be and constitute the special assessment the for <br />the construction of sewers in Sewer District No. 1. <br />8. The amount assessed against each lot, piece or parcel of land shall bear interest from the <br />date hereof until the same have been paid at the rate of three per cent per annum. <br />9. Such assessments shall be payable in ten equal annual installments payable on the ifrst day of <br />January in each year, beginning in the year 1942 and continuing until all of said installments <br />shall have been paid, each installment to be collected with taxes collectible during said year <br />by the County Auditors. <br />10. The Village Clerk is herby directed to make up and file in the office of the County Auditor <br />of Sherburne County a certified statement of the amount of all of such statement of the <br />st <br />amount and the amount which will be due thereon the 1 day of January in each year. <br />M.C. Clinton Walker Village Clerk <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Trustee Nickerson, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted Aye: E.L. Shadick, Frank Nickerson, G.A. <br />Bailey, J. Clinton Walker, M.C. Tesch and the following voted nay: None. Whereupon said <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted and the President of the village Council being <br />present affixed his signature thereto in approval thereof. <br /> <br />John Humbolt was heard regarding the storm water situation at his place stating that water from the <br />street runs down on to his garden and asked that the grade be established on the road which runs <br />past his place between Main and Depot Streets. After some discussion the problem was referred to <br />the road committee. <br /> <br />Chester Waite Jr. said that his girl needed her adenoids and tonsils removed and asked for a food <br />stamp book. He was allowed the operation for his girl and a $12.00 food stamp book. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Frank Nickerson that all funds of the Village be carried in the First National <br />Bank, with the exception of the Liquor fund and Sewer funds which will be carried in the Bank of <br /> <br />
