Briggs <br />Village Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SELECTING SITE FOR SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT <br /> <br />WHEREAS a resolution has heretofore been adopted on the __ day of ___ 1958, authorizing a <br />preliminar survey relating to the construction of a sewage disposal plant, and <br /> <br />WHERAS, pursuant to said resolution the firm of Carter, Krueger and Associates, Inc. Consulting <br />Engineers were retained by this council to make said preliminary survey, including recommendations <br />as to the location of a site for the said sewage disposal plant, and <br /> <br />WHERAS, after receiving a report from the said firm of Carter, Kruegger & Associates that the <br />construction of such a plant was feasible, a recommended location or site for same, and an estimated <br />cost of construction for said plant, this council did make application to the United States of America <br />for federal aid in the construction of the plant as proposed and estimated, and <br /> <br />WHERAS, pursuant to said application for federal aid, this council was advised by the officials of <br />the department concerned of the United States that its application was accepted with a priority of <br />number on in the State of Minnesota, and a grant of approximately $49,000.00 was therefore <br />authorized to assist in the construction of said plant, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said preliminary survey, report and estimate determined that no other site was <br />acceptable from an engineering or economic point of view, than a tract, containing approximately <br />four (4) acres situated at the intersection of the Northern Pacific Ry. right-of-way with the North <br /> <br />
