WHEREAS, said proposed building is in a commercial district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by reason of the construction of Trunk Highway No. 10 through the Village of Elk <br />River, the property available for commercial development within said Village has been substantially <br />reduced; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed location is within a 30 mile per hour speed zone; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Elk River police department that no additional traffic hazard <br />will be created thereby, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that, the Village Council of the Village of Elk River, Minnesota, consideres that <br />it would be in the public interest if Mr. Bernard were granted an access from his said property to <br />Trunk Highway No. 10 where it abuts said property at such place as it is considered feasible and <br />urge that the State Highway Department favorably consider his application therefor. <br /> <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL, VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />May 3, 1954 <br /> <br />Edward C Shwartz, Mayor <br />Dan Bailey <br />August J Meyer <br />H.A.
