Utilities – hydrant rent 52.00 <br />Ted Mickelson – street work 116.35 <br />Dick Wombill – street work 9.10 <br />Zella M Page – April salary 50.00 <br /> <br />Resolution <br />The Village Council of the Village of Elk River, County of Sherburne, State of Minnesota, being in <br />nd <br />regular session on the 2 day of May, 1949, all members being present, Councilman Ellingson <br />offered the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />That Whereas, the Village of Elk River is the owner of a certain tract of land situated in the County <br />of Sherburne and State of Minnesota, described as follows, to-wit: <br />All that part of the following described tract: <br />Government Lot 4 of Section 3, Township 32, Range 26, lying southwesterly of the Great Northern <br />Railway Company’s right of way as same is now located and established over and across said Section <br />3; <br />Which lies between two lines run parallel with and distant 300 feet and 500 feet northeasterly of the <br />following described line: <br />From a point on the north line of said Section 3, distant 2309.5 feet west of the northeast corner <br />thereof, run southeasterly at an angle of 81 degrees 00’ with said north section line for a distance of <br />997.4 feet to the point of beginning of line to be described; thence continue along said course for a <br />distance of 200 feet and there terminating; and containing 0.92 acres, more or less; and <br />Whereas, said lands were acquired as a sewage disposal plant site and since an alternate site is now <br />available said lands are no longer needed for any public purpose; and whereas the Rural Cooperative <br />Power Association, knowns as thru its nominee Bine Nord desire to acquire said lands and have <br />agreed to furnish said village with an alternative site for the sewage disposal plant. <br /> <br />
