A motion was made by Leger and seconded by Johnson to transfer $10,000.00 from the Liquor <br />Fund to the Sewer Construction Fund. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Leger and seconded by Johnson to transfer $2500.00 from the Road and <br />Bridge Fund to the General Fund. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Ellingson and seconded by Leger that the Council instruct the Village <br />Attorney to notify Barbarossa and Son that they have broken their contract for completing the <br />sewer. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Johnson and seconded by Briggs that the village go ahead and finish the <br />sewer and that Les Derr be made superintendent of Construction at the salary of $250.00 a month, <br />be to have charge of construction and personnel the ceiling for common labor to be one dollar an <br />hour and for foremen on dollar and twenty-five cents and hour. Motion carried. <br /> <br />An application for building permit by Tucker Motors Inc. was presented and upon motion by <br />Johnson and a second by Leger the application was approved all voting in favor. <br /> <br />The matter of salaries of employees at the Municipal Liquor Store was discussed. A motion was <br />made by Leger to set the salaries at the Liquor Store as follows: <br />Manager $210.00 a month <br /> <br />Bartender in employ of village after 90 days $180.00 a month. Employees under 90 days $160.00 a <br />month. These salaries to be effective beginning Sept 15, 1947.
