How many of you live in this <br />same area of residential single homes, that were already disrupted by our <br />city council members once, by passing an amendment to this very same <br />location, rezoning this property into Commercial property? I’m going to <br />bet none of you are my neighbors and most certainly don’t live within the <br />very site of this proposed, over bloated project and you wouldn’t move <br />into my neighborhood with this being built. <br /> <br />Elk River has 9 Low income, limited partnership, subsidized complexes <br />now. 9 in Elk River, not 9 in Sherburne Co. These existing properties are <br />not even rented in full capacity and you want to add another one into a <br />generally quiet (now we have commercial buildings and additional traffic <br />in the neighborhood…….) with a 3 story apartment building. With the Elk <br />Ridge Center arriving, we have had an increase in noise levels, truck <br />deliveries at all times, increased traffic and the surrounding landscape of
