I'll close the public <br />hearing, bring it back to the commission, we'll look for any other — a motion of recommendation <br />either way? <br />Jill: I'm going to make a motion to recommend denial on the basis that the application does not <br />meet items 1 and 3, 1 don't believe it's in accordance with the comprehensive — or that's <br />number 2 — in accordance with the comprehensive plan. I do think that it could detrimentally <br />impact the use of other properties and I do think it could have a detrimental impact on the <br />normal and orderly development of that area. <br />Zack: For clarification was that regarding the preliminary plat or the conditional use permit? There are <br />three different items on there. <br />Jill: I'll make a motion to recommend denial of the zone change from business park to PUD. <br />Eric: Because of that, that would directly affect the other two, correct? <br />Zack: Yes. <br />Rob: I would second that motion. <br />Eric: So we have a motion and a second recommending denial of the zone change. I'll take votes on <br />that. Perry, how do you vote on the recommendation of denial? <br />Perry: I'm in favor of the denial of the motion. <br />Alex: I'm in favor of denial. <br />Eric: John is abstaining. <br />Jill: In favor of denial. <br />Rob: I'm in favor of denial. <br />Brad: In favor of denial. <br />Eric: And aye, Eric Johnson, am also in favor of denial. That is six recommendations of denial. So this <br />was a final recommendation of denial to the city council and that will be reviewed on June 1. <br />Zack: That was for the zone change? <br />Eric: For the zone change, correct.
