n)Notification by the plumber that the meter has been set and ready for sealing and inspection by the Water Utility personnel shall be done atleast 24 hours prior to final plumbing inspection by the City Building Inspection Department. 103 WATER SERVICE REPAIRS REPAIR RESPONSIBILTY Maintenance or repair, of the service from and including the main stop cock to the premises remains the responsibility of the property owner. Water service repairs or renewals that become necessary will be made by a licensed plumber at the expense of the property owner.Utility staffmay provide property owner alist of licensed plumber todo emergency repairs.If owner can not make repairs, water may be shut off or Water Utility may make the necessary repairs and the charge for such work will be made under a special assessment against the property concerned. Such assessment, including interest at the legal rate for local improvements, shall be certified to the County Auditor and collected and remitted to the City in the same manner as assessments for local improvements.
