A Resolution pertaining to sanitary sewers for Sewer District No. 1 in the Village of Elk River, <br />Minnesota <br /> <br />Whereas, this Council has by Ordinance No. 40 duly created Sewer District No. 1 for said Village. <br />Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Elk River, Minnesota, as <br />follows: <br />1. That sewers be constructed for Sewer District No. 1 as follow: <br />(A) District Sewers <br />Commencing at the intersection of Main Street and the center line of West Street extended south; <br />thence south on said line to the north bank of the Elk River; thence southeasterly along and <br />following the contour of the north bank of the Elk River and Mississippi River to the treatment <br />plant site, which site is located on the property known as the Nord Farm lying south of the southerly <br />Village limits. <br />(B) Lateral Sewers <br />Along Main Street from the north and south center line of Section 33 southeasterly to High Street. <br />Along Main Street from Hope Street southeasterly to a point approximately 50 feet southeast of <br />Thomas Street to connect with present School district sanitary sewer. <br />Along Main Street from a point approximately 300 westerly of Minnesota Street easterly to <br />Princeton Street. <br />Along the first north and south ally easy of Quincy Street from Depot Street southerly to connect <br />with district sewer. <br />Along the alley between Princeton Street and Lincoln Street from Eighth Street to Seventh Street; <br />thence west on Seventh Street to Princeton Street; thence south on Princeton Street to Sixth Street; <br />thence east on Sixth Street to Mill Street. <br />Along Lincoln Street from Seventh Street South to Fifth Street; thence on Fifth Street to Elk Street. <br />Along Mill Street from Fifth Street to Fourth Street; thence on Fourth Street from Mill Street to <br />Summer Street and from the intersection of Fourth Street and Mill Street southerly across railroad <br />tracks to the District Sewer. <br />Along Thomas Street from a point approximately 300 feet north of Lewis Street south to Line <br />Street. <br />Lewis Street from West Street to Elk Street. <br />Line Street from West Street to Minnesota Street. <br />West Street and West Street extended south from Lewis Street to Depot Street. <br />Along Depot Street from High Street to Oak Street. Minnesota Street from Line Street to Depot <br />Street. Park Street from Depot Street to Outlook Avenue. Oak Street from Depot Street to Main <br />Street. Quincy Street from Depot Street to Main Street. Minnesota Street from Depot Street to Main <br />Street. Minnesota Street from a point approximately 300 feet north of Main Street to Outlook <br />Avenue. <br />2. That the cost of constructing any district sewers be assessed against all the land in the sewer <br />district, subject to assessments for local improvements according to special benefits to each lot, <br />piece or parcel of land within said districts without regard to cash valuation and that the entire cost <br />of constructing all lateral sewers be assessed against all the land in the sewer district, subject to <br />assessments for local improvements according to special benefits to each lot, piece or parcel of land <br />within said districts without regard to cash valuation and that the entire cost of constructing all <br />lateral sewers be assessed against every lot, piece or parcel of land abutting thereon subject to <br />assessment for local improvements at an equal sum per front foot without regard to cash valuation , <br />and that in case a sewer be so constructed that it serves both as a lateral and as a district sewer, the <br />Council shall first determine what the cost of constructing such sewers would be if used solely as a <br /> <br />
