It was decided that when the W.P.A. crew were there building sidewalks and curbs for private property that they rebuild walks at the following places Westside of old school house, in front of Mrs Baltzells house, N.W. corner of Court house and in front of the old post office. Also lower sewer on Quincy Street and lower the road between Bob Gliddens and Frank Nickersons property. A motion was made by G.A. Bailey seconded by Wm Greupner to have the above work done. Because of the number of complaints about the traffic speeding thru town it was decided to have the clerk write to Mr. Rosenwald of the Minnesota Highway Dept and have him come up to Elk River and see if more signs could be put up. Geo Cornelius spoke about installing a pipe at upper town whereas a hose could be fastened. After some discussion it was decided to have Geo Cornelius find out about the cost of this a report a the next meeting. A motion was made by G.A.
