<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />1996 COMPENSATION PLAN <br />EXHIBIT 1 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />All 1995 pay ranges established by the City Council will increase by <br />3% in 1996. On July 1, 1996, all City employees performing at an <br />acceptable level will move up one step in their pay range. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The 1996 pay ranges for City employees are listed in Exhibit 2. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The 1996 Pay Plan continues the City's efforts to comply with the Pay <br />Equity Law. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />All police employees who are members of the Minnesota Teamsters <br />Public and Law Enforcement Union, Local 320, shall receive <br />compensation and benefits as outlined in the Master Labor Agreement <br />between the City and the Union and are therefore not governed by any <br />clauses of this resolution. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />All orientation period employees shall receive increases according to <br />the agreement when the employee was hired. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Vacation leave.shall be granted in accordance to Exhibit 3 as attached. <br />Holiday and sick leave shall be grantedin accordance with the City's <br />Personnel Ordinance. All regularly scheduled, pal't time employees <br />scheduled to work an average of at least 20 hours per week shall <br />receive prorated benefits for vacation, holiday, and sick leave. <br /> <br />7. The City's maximum contribution for single health, single dental, and <br />single life benefits is $295.00 per month for the months of January <br />through June; the contribution increases to $310.00 per month for the <br />months of July through December. Any difference between the <br />premiums for single health, single dental and single life insurance <br />may be used to reduce the employee's share of the family health <br />insurance premium. Prorated insurance benefits will be offered to all <br />employees scheduled to work an average of 30 or more hours per week. <br /> <br />8. The Executive Director of the EDA and HRA shall receive additional <br />annual compensation of $1,677.87 in 1996. <br /> <br />9. The part time Liquor Store Clerks shall be paid in accordance with the <br />following schedule: <br /> <br /> Hours Step Hours Step <br /> o - 750 A 7001- 9000 G <br />e 751 - 1500 B 9001 - 11000 H <br />1501 - 2250 C 11001 - 14000 I <br /> 2251 - 3000 D 14001 - 17000 J <br /> 3001 - 5000 E 17001 - 20000 K <br /> 5001 - 7000 F 20001 + L <br />
