Exterior stairways do not comply with code. <br />3. Interior stairway does not comply with code. <br />4. Basement floor to ceiling height does not comply with code. <br />5. Current smoke detectors do not comply with code. <br />6. There are no code-required Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters in the building. <br />7. There are no code-required carbon monoxide detectors in the building. <br />8. Windows have failed, allowing for water intrusion, contrary to code. <br />9. Roofing material is failing allowing for water intrusion, contrary to code. <br /> <br /> <br />Overview of Deficiencies <br />This residential dwelling was constructed in 1926. Other than electric and HVAC it does not look like any <br />remodeling has taken place. Interior surfaces show wear and need to be repainted/refinished. The exterior <br />stairways do not comply with code. The interior stairways do not comply with code. The Basement floor to <br />ceiling height does not comply with code. The main supporting beam under the main floor has failed and is <br />being supported by a temporary screw jack. Current smoke detectors do not comply with code. Code- <br />required AFCI’s are not present. Code-required carbon monoxide detectors are not present. Windows are <br />failing, allowing for water intrusion, contrary to code.
