<br />Meeting of the <br />Elk River Planning Commission <br /> <br />Held at Elk River City Hall <br />Tuesday, August 27, 2019 <br /> <br />Members Present: Chair Eric Johnson, Commissioners Jill Larson-Vito, Robert <br />Rydberg, and Brad Thiel <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Perry Beise, Alexander Feinstein, and John Jordan <br /> <br />Also Present: City Council Liaison Nate Ovall <br /> <br />Staff Present: Planning Manager Zack Carlton, Planning Intern George Brenzel, <br />and Sr. Admin. Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning <br />Commission was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chair Johnson. <br /> <br />2. Consider August 27, 2019, Planning Commission Agenda <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Thiel and seconded by Commissioner Larson-Vito <br />to approve the August 27, 2019, Planning Commission agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />3. Consider July 23, 2019, Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Thiel and seconded by Commissioner Rydberg to <br />approve the July 23, 2019, Planning Commission minutes. <br /> <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />4.1. Auto-Rec Bodyworks Inc. – 21475 US Highway 169 <br /> Amend CUP to allow construction of accessory structure, Case No. <br />CU 19-14 <br /> <br />Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. He also explained if this Conditional Use <br />Permit (CUP) is approved, it would take the place of a previously approved CUP <br />from 2016 (CU 16-04). <br /> <br />Commissioner Thiel asked what the tree requirements were. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlton explained the requirements of one tree is required for every 40 lineal feet <br />of perimeter plus three more and indicated a tree survey would be conducted by <br />staff. <br />
