She stated the applicant would like to change the <br />alternate tent site location that was recommended in the conditions by staff back to the <br />originally requested location. Ms. McPherson stated the site location was moved due to the <br />amount of traffic entering the southern access point to Menards and the storage of building <br />materials near this access. Staff was concerned about traffic conflicts between a variety of <br />vehicles <br /> <br /> Sara Michielson, representing Fireworks Liquidators, LLC-Stated Menards would like the <br />tent sales located at the original site due to traffic concerns in the alternate location <br />recommended by staff. <br /> <br /> Ms. McPherson presented a third alternative to the applicant that would be near the north <br />access point in the parking lot. Ms. Michielson stated it might work but she would need to <br />present it to Menards. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Dietz stated the original south access point has less traffic and congestion <br />and is where the tent sales should be located. <br /> <br /> MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER TO APPROVE A GENERAL PLANNING <br />PERMIT TO THE APPLICANT WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.NO ELECTRICAL SERVICES SHALL BE ACROSS ANY DRIVE OR <br />WALKING SURFACE. <br /> <br /> <br />2.IF TRAFFIC BECOMES A PROBLEM AROUND THE TEMPORARY <br />SITE, THE SALES AREA SHALL BE DELINEATED WITH A BARRIER <br />TO RESTRICT TRAFFIC. <br /> <br /> <br />3.THE SALES TENT SHALL BE MAINTAINED FREE OF DEBRIS AND <br />KEPT IN AN ORDERLY CONDITION. <br /> <br /> <br />4.THE LOCATION OF THE TENT IS CONSISTENT WITH THE <br />SUBMITTED SITE PLAN AND MEETS ALL FIRE CODES. <br /> <br /> <br />5.THE TENT SHALL BE REMOVED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE <br />END OF THE SALES PERIOD AND THE SITE BE RETURNED TO <br />ITS PREVIOUS CONDITION. <br /> <br /> <br />6.THE TRAILER DISPLAY AREA ALONG EVANS STREET SHALL BE <br />REMOVED. <br /> <br /> <br />7.THE TENT BE LOCATED AS SHOWN ADJACENT TO THE ISLAND <br />IDENTIFIED AS HAVING ELECTRIC SERVICE AT THE ORIGINAL <br />PROPOSED LOCATION <br /> <br />MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.3.
