He also provided a schedule of the improvement project. <br /> <br /> MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER TO HIRE ULTEIG ENGINEERING TO <br />PROVIDE FOUNDATIONS DRAWINGS FOR A FEE NOT TO EXCEED <br />$2,500. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br /> MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER FARBER AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CLASS 5 AND <br />BITUMINOUS PAVING. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br /> MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUMPHREY TO SECURE QUOTES FOR CONCRETE <br />CURB AND GUTTER, CONCRETE SLABS, FENCE REMOVAL AND <br />INSTALLATION, BUILDING DEMOLITION AND STORM SEWER <br />INSTALLATION. Clean Up Events (Financials) <br /> <br /> Building and Environmental Administrator Steve Rohlf provided an update of the revenue <br />generated and the disposal costs for the Clean Up Week events held in April. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dietz suggested the city consider recycling the scrap metal for some <br />additional revenue. <br /> <br />B. Review Permit Fees for Habitat for Humanity House <br /> <br />Mr. Rohlf reviewed the permit fees for the Habitat for Humanity House. <br /> <br />MOVED BY MAYOR KLINZING AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER <br />FARBER TO WAIVE THE PLUMBING, HVAC, AND SEPTIC FEES FOR THE <br />HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HOUSE. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />C. Gas Line Update (CenterPoint Energy Project) <br /> <br />Mr. Rohlf updated the Council on the CenterPoint Energy gas line repair project. He stated <br />around 500-600 homes in Elk River will need to have their service lines replaced. He stated <br />CenterPoint Energy hopes to have the project done prior to winter freeze up. <br /> <br />D. Lake Orono Update <br /> <br /> Mr. Rohlf provided an update of Lake Orono Water Quality Task Force projects as outlined <br />in his staff report. He stated that there is no need to draw down the lake for curly leaf <br />pondweed in 2005. <br /> <br />8.6. Community Development Director-Sathe Executive Search Update <br /> <br /> <br />
