Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Lundberg and seconded by Councilman Syring adopting Village <br />Ordinance No. 902 an ordinance establishing a Park Board. Motion unanimously carried <br />by a vote of 4~0. A copy of the ordinance is attached. <br /> <br />The Mayor made the following appointments to the Park Board. <br />Les Derr for a three year calendar term (3) 4-16-73 to 12-31-75 <br />Gene Schuldt for a two yearC calendar term (2) 4-16-73 to 12-31-74 <br />Dwayne Becklin for a one year calendar term (1) 4-16-73 to 12-31-73 <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and <br />the following bills. <br />Gordy's Sweeping Service <br />Elk River Fire Dept <br />Minnesota Fire Inc. <br />Sandy's Hardwa~e <br /> <br />seconded by Councilman Otto approving the payment of <br /> <br />$1121.00 <br />716.00 <br />60.75 <br />9.75 <br /> <br />Chief of Police Bob Olson met with the Council and reviewed the monthly reports of the <br />Police Dept. He was instructed by the Council to use the part-time patrolman at $3.00 <br />per hour to pick up the hours that are not covered due to the shortage of one patrolman. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Lundberg and seconded by Councilman Otto approving the Stand-by <br />payment of Mr. Johnson's half to Zerwas & Olson for the months of March & April. <br />Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />.1 <br /> <br />The Council approved the Mrs. Jaycees request to hold a Walk-A-Thon for May 5, 1973. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and seconded by Councilman Lundberg approving the list of <br />Municipal Liquor Store bills for payment as presented and listed. A copy of the list <br />is attached. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0.
