What changes <br />can we make to improve the <br />situation? let’s start with timing. <br />soMething For the <br />WeekenD, sir? <br />There is a golden rule in event planning: If you <br />want to maximize public attendance at a city-wide <br />event, you should hold it on the weekend. A week- <br />end election would likely increase voter turnout, <br />especially in low income neighbourhoods. Both <br />Montreal and Vancouver hold their city elections <br />on the weekend. Why don’t we?
