Bid Item B-29: Connect to Existing Dual-Contain Pipeline (a) This item pertains to the construction of a dual-contained splice connection from an existing leachate line to a proposed leachate line. (b) The sizing of the pipes for the connection shall account for the size of the mechanical restraint coupling required to make the connection between the existing and proposed carrier pipes. 30. Bid Item B-30: 4" Polystyrene Insulation (a) This item pertains to the furnishing and installing of polystyrene insulation over the forcemain from Station 233+50 to 248+50 as well as the additional layer of insulation required at the drainage crossings on the west side slope of the landfill. Bid Item B-31: Forcemain Fittings (a) This item pertains to fittings placed on the forcemain, primarily bends and sleeves,as needed to accomplish the alignment as shown on the plans and to connect the forcemain at all manholes and other intermediate locations required for construction. Bid Item B-33: Valve Manhole, Des 60-4020(MH 18) (a) This item pertains to the valve manhole 15 constructed near existing Tank 1 and pertains only to the manhole structure. Bid Item B-34: Valve Manhole, Des 120-4020(MH 14) (a) This item pertains to the valve manhole 12 constructed near proposed Lift Station 2 and pertains only to the manhole structure. Bid Item B-35: Air Relief and Cleanout Manhole- HDPE 72" (MH 16& 17) (a) This item pertains to the manholes constructed on top of the landfill cap at Stations 238+00 and 241+71. The air relief and cleanout assemblies shall be paid separately. (b) Reference specification Section 02535—Forcemain. 36. Bid Item B-36: Load-Out Manhole, Des 48-4020(MH 21) (a) This item pertains to the load-out manhole constructed adjacent to the load-out station near existing Tank 1. Bid Item B-37: Air Relief Valve Assembly(MH 16& 17) (a) This item pertains to the furnishing and assembly of the air relief valve and piping material inside the air relief manhole structures(Item B-35).
