27. Bid Item A-27: Silt Fence,Type Heavy Duty (a) This item pertains to the furnishing and installing of silt fence for the purposes of containing erosion sediment with the project site. There are numerous locations of called out on the plan and in general is at every location where excavation occurs,which includes all drill pits,connection points and Lift Station 1 site. (b) Reference specification Section 02370—Erosion &Sediment Control 28. Bid Item A-28: Fertilizer,Type 3 (a) This item pertains to the spreading of fertilizer at all locations where turf restoration occurs through seeding and blanketing. (b) Reference specification Section 02920—Turf Restoration 29. Bid Item A-29: Erosion Control Blanket Category 3P (a) This item pertains to the covering of all turf restoration areas with erosion control blanket. (b) Reference specification Section 02920—Turf Restoration 30. Bid Item A-30: Seeding, Mixture 25-121 (a) This item pertains to the payment for seed used on all turf restoration areas. (b) Reference specification Section 02920—Turf Restoration 31. Bid Item A-31: 4"Solid Line Paint (a) This item pertains to the marking of parking stalls and prohibited parking areas on the pavement of the parking lot of the Lift Station 1 site area. Bid Item A-32: Pavement Message Paint—Handicap Parking (a) This item refers to the painting of the handicap symbol in a parking stall of the parking lot of the Lift Station 1 site. (b) Reference specification Section 02749—Pavement Marking. 33. Bid Item A-33: Prefabricated Parking Stop (a) This item refers to the furnishing and installing of parking stops in each stall of the parking lot of the Lift Station 1 site. (b) Reference specification Section 02779—Prefabricated Parking Stops. H. Bid items beginning with a "B"are associated with the landfill side improvements of the project, beginning at the forcemain connection at the Lift Station 1 wet well at 197+68, up to the connection at the main pumphouse near Station 251+50,along with all other associated improvements on the landfill site. These bids are described as follow: 1. Bid Item B-1: Construction Surveying (a) This item pertains to the establishment of all reference points(construction stakes) necessary to construct the work between Station 198+75 and 251+21, in accordance with the plans and these specifications. (b) Reference specification Section 01720—Field Engineering 2. Bid Item B-2: Mobilization (a) This item covers the mobilization of all labor, materials,tools,equipment and performances of all work and services necessary or incidental to construct the project between Station 198+75 and 251+21, including but not limited to,the demobilization associated with closing the project, removing all equipment, removing excess materials,and general clean-up.
