THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0.

5.5. Reauest bv Caraill lGrea Ebert) for Amendment to Conditional Use Permit. Public
Hearina Case No. CU 00-10

Staff report by Scott Harlicker. Cargill has requested an amendment to their
conditional use permit (CU 95-05) to construct a building to house storage/shop
space and office area at the site located off 165th and Highway 10. Mr. Harlicker
reviewed the building design, access, and parking. He noted that staff would like
to see a more detailed landscape plan and include additional trees along 165th
Avenue. Staff recommends approval of the conditional use permit with one
condition as stated in the staff report.

Greg Ebert, applicant on behalf of Cargill, explained that they would be willing to
plant additional trees as indicated by staff, but he was not sure were there was
room to plant them. Mr. Ebert stated that the proposed building will match the
other newer buildings.

Chair Mesich asked if the parking was adequate. Mr. Harlicker stated that
additional spaces have been added and they will have more parking than the
ordinance requires.

.

Chair Mesich opened the public hearing. There being no comments from the
public, Chair Mesich closed the public hearing.

COMMISSIONER PEDERSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE REQUEST
BY CARGILL FOR AN AMENDMENT TO A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, CASE NO.
