THIS <br />WILL ASSIST POLICE IN KEEPING THE TEEN CENTER A PLACE FOR ALL TO <br />COME. <br /> <br />6. PROVIDE LIGHTING PER THE POLICE DEPARTMENT RECOMENDATIONS. <br /> <br />7. DEBRIS SHALL BE PICKED UP ON THE SITE ON A REGULAR BASIS. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER THOMPSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kuester felt it was important to include the condition for no smoking <br />to aid the students representatives who will govern the program in passing along <br />the message that in order to have this facility, the rules must be followed. She <br />stated she is aware there will be challenges ahead but felt the adults in the <br />community should give all the support they can. Chair Mesich stated he felt a <br />condition should also be added to include "alcohol free". Commissioner Kuester <br />stated she did not feel that type of condition was appropriate for a conditional <br />use permit. <br /> <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 5-1. Chair Mesich opposed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />staff report by Steve Ach, City Planner. The City of Elk River has made the <br />following requests: <br /> <br />A. Amending the land use plan map of approximately 25 acres of property <br />lying south and east of Elk Terrace Mobile Home Park and east of Highway <br />169 from HB (Highway Business) to L1(Light Industrial) (Area #5). <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Rezoning of the same property described above from PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) to BP (Business Park) (Area #5). <br />
