YMCA Update . <br />Commissioner Polston-Hork asked what land has been offered to the YMCA. <br />Director of Planning, Michele McPherson shared that the MSF site by the water <br />tower and Lake Orono and a site south of Home Depot. <br />4. NRI Update <br />5. Article - "Oaks Folks" <br /> <br />11. Update on June 21. 2004 City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Commissioner Peterson provided an update on the June 21, 2004 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Update on June 22. 2004 Planning Commission Meeting <br /> <br />Commissioner Nystrom provided an update on the June 22, 2004 Planning Commission <br />Meeting. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />Other Business <br /> <br />A. Director of Planning, Michele McPherson gave an update on Woodland Hills Plat. <br />Ms. McPherson shared that they did receive a drawing of the revised plat which meets <br />Condition #24 of the approval, providing a 150-foot buffer from the trail right-of-way. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kuester asked if they put a playground in are they violating the no cut <br />zone. <br /> <br />Commissioner Anderson stated that they need some kind of fencing during grading to <br />protect what they own and there should be park boundary markers at every lot comer. <br /> <br />Ms. McPherson will come back to the Commission to figure out playground placement <br />when she gets the revised grading plan. <br /> <br />B. Commissioner Kuester asked Ms. McPherson when the meetings will be back on the <br />cable channel. Ms. McPherson explained that the City is looking for an assistant to help <br />with the cable channel. The request has been made for an assistant in the 2005 budget. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER KUESTER AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER POLSTON-HORK TO RECOMMEND TO COUNCIL <br />THE HIRING OF AN ASSISTANT IN 2004-2005 TO GET THE <br />COMMISSION MEETINGS BACK ON THE CABLE CHANNEL. MOTION <br />CARRIED 7-0. <br />
