Clients with Felonies and Gross Misdemeanors <br />It would be impossible to say we will never take a person with a felony or Gross Misdemeanor since <br />they may not tell us, and the criminal charges could be in a different state. The records may not <br />show what happened in another state or even in Minnesota. It is safe to say we will from time to time <br />take a client who has a Felony or Gross Misdemeanor Clients criminal pasts of the clients we serve <br />is secondary mental illness <br />If records and interview indicate this person is a current threat to our staff or community, we will not <br />take that client. This is the case if the person has a felony or not. We have worked with hundreds of <br />clients over the years we have been a part of ResCare and at no time was someone from the <br />community hurt or harassed. <br />Who we will not take <br />We will not take clients who are classified as Mentally III and Dangerous <br />
