Draft Ice Arena Commission Minutes <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Update on 8-18-03 City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Commissioner Polston-Hork provided an update on the August 18, 2003 City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Polston-Hork stated that the City Council approved the resurfacing of the <br />Vandenberge tennis courts with adjustments to the budget per Park and Recreation <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />12. Update on 8-20-03 Planning Commission Meeting <br /> <br />There were no park related items on this agenda. <br /> <br />13. Other Business <br /> <br />Ice Arena Commission Update - Commissioner Jackett was not in attendance to give an <br />update. <br /> <br />Commission Kuester stated that he walked through Big Tooth Ridge with Tim Edgerton to <br />get Mr. Edgerton's assessment on the oak wilt problem. Mr. Edgerton felt there were not <br />enough dead trees to do anything and that there was sufficient other types of trees to <br />replenish itself over time. Mr. Edgerton thought it would be good to clear under the canopy <br />of trees. Park/Street Superintendent Phil Hals stated that he would be in contact with Mr. <br />Edgerton to help take care of clearing under the canopies. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER POLSTON-HORK MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER ANDERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION.
