Update on Phones in Parks <br /> <br />Phil Hals noted that staff will provide information on costs of phones and features <br />that are available, along with a recommendation, at the April 11 th meeting. <br /> <br />9.C.3. Consider Purchase of Cross Country Ski Trail Groomer <br /> <br />Commissioner Dave Anderson reviewed the information provided regarding the <br />Nordic Ski Club's request to purchase a new grooming snowmobile. He stated <br />that he feels that club donates all their hours and that the City is receiving a good <br />value for the money invested. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE <br />PURCHASE OF A 2002 SKIDOO SCANDIC SNOWMOBILE IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,000 <br />FROM THE EQUIPMENT FUND. COMMISSIONER SLADEK SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER PETERSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND RAISING THE HOURLY <br />REIMBURSEMENT FOR GROOMING SKI TRAILS TO $30.00 PER HOUR. COMMISSIONER <br />HUBERTY SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dave Anderson provided an update on the Woodland Trails ski <br />season. He noted that public usage is up approximately 50%, and that some <br />weekends there are up to 30 cars in the parking lot. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Information/Update Items <br /> <br />This information was presented to the Commissioners in their packets. Update on February 20,2001 City Council Meetina <br /> <br />Commissioner Huberty provided an update on the 2/20/01 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Update on 3/27/01 Plannina Commission Meetina <br /> <br />Commissioner Sladek provided an update on the February 27,2001 Planning <br />Commission meeting. Commissioner Sladek discussed West Oaks (S & Z <br />Investments) plat and the proposed density. He the stated that the Planning <br />Commission recommended that the park in the be placed to the north near the <br />multi-family housing. Commissioner Dave Anderson stated that he would like a <br />visual of this type of development to present to the City Council. <br />
