He <br />felt that with the addition of the Boys and Girls Club, the Commission may <br />wish to carefully consider any further development in Lions Park. steve <br />Wensman indicated he will prepare a concept plan for the March or April <br />Park & Recreation Commission meeting. <br /> <br />7.c. <br /> <br />CBD Yisionina Update <br /> <br />Steve Wensman distributed an update regarding the Central Business <br />District visioning process. Steve and Jeff Asfahl discussed possible events <br />which have been proposed to attract people to the downtown. <br /> <br />8.a. Update on 1/19/99 City Council Meetina <br /> <br />Commissioner Dana Anderson provided an update on the January 19, 1999, City <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />8.b. Update on 1/26/99 Plannina Commission Meetina <br /> <br />Commissioner Westrum provided an update on the January 26, 1999, Planning <br />Commission meeting. <br /> <br />9.a. <br /> <br />Review Draft Park & Recreation Commission Rules and Procedures <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER KUESTER MOVED TO APPROVE THE DRAFT PARK & RECREATIOIN <br />COMMISSION RULES AND PROCEDURES WITH THE FOLLOWING CHANGE: <br /> <br />PAGE 4 - CHANGE TO READ "FOUR (4) ABSENCES, TWO (2) OF WHICH MAY BE <br />UNEXCUSED" <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER PETERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />1 a.b. Elect Secretary <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER WESTRUM MOVED TO ELECT DUANE PETERSON SECRETARY OF THE <br />PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION FOR 1999. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0-1. Commissioner Peterson abstained. <br /> <br />11 . Adiournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER PETERSON MOVED TO ADJOURN <br />THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED THE MOTION.
