The Commissioners expressed concern that they were not <br />given an opportunity to review the plat. The Commissioners were in agreement <br />that they could not make a recommendation regarding trails without reviewing <br />the plat. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER KUESTER MOVED TO CONVEY TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT THE PARK <br />& RECOMMENDATION IS NOT ABLE TO MAKE A SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATION ON <br />TRAILS FOR THE AMCON PLAT, SINCE THEY DID NOT HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO <br />REVIEW THE PLAT, AND, THAT CONSIDERATION OF THE PLAT SHOULD BE POSTPONED <br />UNLESS A SPECIAL MEETING IS HELD BY THE PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION TO <br />CONSIDER TRAIL ISSUES. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />11 . Other Business <br /> <br />a. Boys & Girls Club - Chair Anderson noted that the lease agreement <br />for the Boys & Girls Club has been signed. <br /> <br />b. Ski Groomina Trails - Commissioner Anderson indicated that if the <br />Commissioners had any questions regarding grooming, he would be <br />able to answer them. <br /> <br />c. Letter to Ridaewood Residents - Commissioner Anderson stated that he <br />will present a draft letter to be sent to the Ridgewood residents regarding <br />use of motorized vehicles on the city trails. <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Liahts for Softball Complex - Commissioner Anderson indicated that the <br />Softball Association has purchased the light bulbs for the fields at a cost <br />of $4.700. The bulbs were installed by UPA (United Power Association). <br /> <br />e. Park Dedication Information - The Commissioners discussed information <br />distributed regarding park dedication fees. Some of the Commissioners <br />felt there was an error in the calculations and did not take any action on <br />the issue. <br /> <br />12. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER KUESTER MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br />MEETING. COMMISSIONER PETERSON SECONDED THE MOTION.
