ATTENTION RESIDENTS. <br />of Elk River, Minnesota, has initiated <br />an update of its existing Comprehen- <br />sive Plan. This plan will held guide <br />development decisions in ElkRiver over <br />the neat decade and will be a valuable <br />document forthe City, its Planning Com- <br />mission, residents, and businesses. <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE <br />that a public meeting on the proposed <br />update of the Comprehensive Plan will <br />be conducted by the Steering Commit- <br />tee on Thursday, August 25, 1994, at <br />the Elk River City Hall, beginning at 7 <br />P.m. The public meeting will address <br />the residential development of the <br />mg inventory of residential land, the <br />absorption rate of residential land, and <br />development policies associated with <br />Because of the diversity of residential <br />development within the community, the <br />City has been divided into four residen- <br />tial planning areas. The meeting on <br />August 25, 1994, will address only the <br />North PlanningArea. The remaining <br />areas will be discussed at a later meet- <br />ing. <br />All persons desiring to appear at the <br />Public meeting will be afforded an up- <br />Portunity to express their view on the <br />issue. Interested persons may also file <br />written comments expressing their <br />views with the City Planner.
