2.3 Repair and 2.3.1 <br /> Reconditioning Cost The costs for structural repairs, full reconditioning of the interior wet, partial <br /> Estimate reconditioning of the interior dry, and a full replacement of the exterior coatings with <br /> containment are estimated at $628,300.00. This estimate is based on current pricing. <br /> For up-to-date competitive bids,the project should be bid 9 to 12 months before the <br /> scheduled starting date. <br /> An experienced tank coating contractor with the proper crew and equipment should <br /> be able to complete the project in 11 weeks. At the time of reconditioning,the tower <br /> will need to be drained and remain off-line during surface preparation and painting. <br /> 2.4 Remaining 2.4.1 <br /> Tank Life Based on the inspection data, it appears that, if the recommended structural repairs <br /> and coating replacement are completed within the next one (1)to two (2)years. <br /> The tank and the coating should be first inspected within the warranty period and <br /> every five to seven years thereafter. The new interior and exterior coating, if applied <br /> and maintained properly, should last to twenty (20) to twenty-five (25) years with <br /> only minor repairs. <br /> 5 <br /> 132 <br />
