U.S.Retail Electric Stagnant growth of electric sales presents planning challenges for <br /> Sales Stagnant many utilities. Recent Energy Information Administration(EIA) <br /> data show that since 2003, overall retail electricity sales have risen <br /> by less than 5.5%. However, between 2007 and 2017, there was a <br /> decrease, albeit small, in overall retail electricity sales. EIA reported <br /> that between 2003 and 2017, slight residential and commercial user <br /> growth was offset by a decline in industrial users' sales.
