Consider Special Economic Development Incentive Rate for March, 1996, <br /> Business Prospect <br /> Glenn Sundeen presented information on the current rates being offered to <br /> industrial businesses in Elk River and also information on the cost of electricity that <br /> the Utilities pays to Anoka Electric. Discussion took place regarding whether or <br /> not AEC was offering to sell electricity to the business prospect at a lower rate <br /> than what the city was purchasing electricity for and whether or not we can <br /> match the AEC rate. Discussion took place regarding location of the business <br /> prospect and the rate that would be available if the prospect located in the old <br /> Elk River territory versus the territory to be acquired by the Utilities from AEC.
