(ITT) report dated
February 21, 2017, building permits shall not be issued prior to the soil corrections completed in accordance with all
ITT recommendations.

The soil corrections need to be followed and verified by ITT Inc. Any deviations from the report must have prior
written approval from the City of Elk River. Upon receipt of the inspection report and my complete review, I will
issue the appropriate permits.

Erosion control measures have been required at least as far back as 1999 and are required per Minnesota Statutes.
The Briggs Construction project at 19022 Freeport St. in Elk River, permit number 2006-02406, had an NPDES
inspection listed as the first inspection. We have since changed the name of the inspection to “Silt fence & temp
driveway” to encompass all permits.

Feel free to call or email with any questions,

Thanks, Bob R.

Bob Ruprecht | Building Official
763.635.1066 w | 763.635.1090 f
13065 Orono Parkway | Elk River | MN | 55330

Hello John,

I left you a message this morning. We had our 3rd precon meeting last night and our group is looking for your direction
and is waiting for your response as the members cannot start without communication back from you regarding our
building permit.
