2
As we are grading how do we install our site utilities without a permit. Your building official said he was really impressed
with our plumbing plan that is approved by the state to perform the work. However your building official will not release
the plumbing permit until the building permit is released which was submitted 3‐23‐18 10AM and approved in our plan
review meeting on May 3rd 2018 @ 8:30AM. He will not communicate with us regarding the status of issuing our
building permit.

1. With all that said how do we install our underground radon without a building permit as we reach subgrade ?
2. How do we install our underground plumbing without a plumbing permit ? we cannot grade unless these two trades
can perform. Please advise as to how we can proceed with both permits approved but not released ?
3. Please respond to my email below dated June 11th @ 4:09PM as requested again yesterday on June 12th @ 5:13pm
4. Did the building officials Boss last day of employment yesterday ?

I also just received a message from one of our staff members that your building official verbally said we cannot grade
with our grading permit that has been approved and is in our hand until we have an inspection on our temp entrance
and silt fencing. Is this a misunderstanding or is this something new we are doing with all the construction projects in
town ? With all the previous construction projects we have built in this town in the past 18 years we have never
experienced any issues or complaints regarding these items. Our Subcontractors cannot afford to mobilize and do work
without a permit so please give us a little direction on what we should do ?

Confused and looking for clarification and exceptional service 😊

I hope your day is going well…
Mr. Briggs
