PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> • CITY OF ELK RIVER,MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE ELK RIVER PLANNING COMMISSION FINDING <br /> THAT THE MODIFICATION TO THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR <br /> DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 AND THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING <br /> PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 21 (AN <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) THEREIN CONFORM TO THE <br /> GENERAL PLANS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT OF <br /> THE CITY. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Elk River, Minnesota, (the "City") has proposed to <br /> adopt the modifications to the development program for Development District No. 1 and the Tax <br /> Increment Financing plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 21 (an economic development <br /> district) therein and has submitted the Modifications to the Elk River Planning Commission (the <br /> "Commission")pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.175, Subdivision 3, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the modifications to the development program for <br /> • Development District No. 1 and the Tax Increment Financing plan for Tax Increment Financing District <br /> No. 21 to determine their conformity with the general plans for the development and redevelopment of <br /> the City as described in the comprehensive plan for the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission that the Modifications conform with <br /> the general plans for the development and redevelopment of the City as a whole. <br /> Adopted this 25 day of July, 2000. <br /> Chair <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Secretary <br /> INF s:\eda\tif\tif21\pc-res.doc <br />
