COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION PASSED 2-0. 10. Street Light Request for Main Street The Administrator indicated that a memo had been received from the Department of Transportation regarding requested improvements at the intersections of Highway 10 and Main Street, and Highway 169 and Main Street. The memorandum indicated that an improvement for the intersection of Highway '10 and Main Street had been put back several years and that it was not possible to deter- mine at this time if an improvement at the intersection of Highway 169 and Main Street could be undertaken. cotJ'}roILMAN TO'l'H MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO CONTACT THE CITY'S STATE REPRESENTATIVE AND STATE SENATOR TO DETER- MINE IF TfiEy COULD ASSIST IN ItA VING THE NECESSARY IMPROvEMENTS CONSTRUCTED AT THE RESPECTIVE INTERSECTIONS . Meadowvale Oaks Improvement s The City Administrator reviewed a preliminary plat for the Meadowva1e Oaks subdivision for the members of the City Council and indicated that the Plan- ning Commission had approved the plat with no restrictions or requirements. City Engineer, Jeff Roos, reviewed the improvements proposed 'for the Meadow- vale Oaks subdivision and answered questions regarding plans and specifications for the members of the City Council. Mr. Roos indicated that, because a portion of an abutting development, Paradise Park, was to be assessed for improvements and would benefit from said improvements, a public hearing would be required. COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM MOVED APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 79-:3)1 24 and ~1 ~ DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING pmARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIOhs L~D APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATION~ ORDERING. League Legislative Input The City Council reviewed the memorandum from the League of Minnesota Cities and determined that discussion at the next City Council meeting of possible legislative concerns would be appropriate. 13. Declaration of Apartment Ownership COUNCILMAN TOTH MOVED TO RECEIVE AND REFER TO THE CITY ATTORNEY FOR REVIEW A DECLARATION OF APARTMENT OWNERSHIP FOR THE WEST MAIN MANOR CONOOMINIUMS ON MAIN STREET.
