Street Light Request for Main Street <br /> <br />The Administrator indicated that a memo had been received from the Department <br />of Transportation regarding requested improvements at the intersections of <br />Highway 10 and Main Street, and Highway 169 and Main Street. The memorandum <br />indicated that an improvement for the intersection of Highway '10 and Main <br />Street had been put back several years and that it was not possible to deter- <br />mine at this time if an improvement at the intersection of Highway 169 and <br />Main Street could be undertaken. cotJ'}roILMAN TO'l'H MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTACT THE CITY'S STATE REPRESENTATIVE AND STATE SENATOR TO DETER- <br />MINE IF TfiEy COULD ASSIST IN ItA VING THE NECESSARY IMPROvEMENTS CONSTRUCTED <br />AT THE RESPECTIVE INTERSECTIONS . Meadowvale Oaks Improvement s <br /> <br />The City Administrator reviewed a preliminary plat for the Meadowva1e Oaks <br />subdivision for the members of the City Council and indicated that the Plan- <br />ning Commission had approved the plat with no restrictions or requirements. <br />City Engineer, Jeff Roos, reviewed the improvements proposed 'for the Meadow- <br />vale Oaks subdivision and answered questions regarding plans and specifications <br />for the members of the City Council. Mr. Roos indicated that, because a portion <br />of an abutting development, Paradise Park, was to be assessed for improvements <br />and would benefit from said improvements, a public hearing would be required. <br />COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM MOVED APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 79-:3)1 24 and ~1 ~ DECLARING <br />ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING pmARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT RECEIVING <br />FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIOhs L~D <br />APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATION~ ORDERING. League Legislative Input <br /> <br />The City Council reviewed the memorandum from the League of Minnesota Cities <br />and determined that discussion at the next City Council meeting of possible <br />legislative concerns would be appropriate. <br /> <br />13. Declaration of Apartment Ownership <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN TOTH MOVED TO RECEIVE AND REFER TO THE CITY ATTORNEY FOR REVIEW A <br />DECLARATION OF APARTMENT OWNERSHIP FOR THE WEST MAIN MANOR CONOOMINIUMS ON <br />MAIN STREET.
