Animals in Residential Areas <br /> <br />Councilman Toth informed the Council that there was a problem in a <br />) residential area with a homeowner maintaining one or more goats on <br />his property. The Council asked the City Administrator to look into the <br />matter and report to the Council on what could be done eoncerning the <br />situation at the next City Council Meeting. <br /> <br />10. Building and Development in the City <br /> <br />Councilman Toth asked that the City Council consider this item because <br />he had become aware of several bUildings being constructed in the City <br />possibly without building permits and in unplatted areas. Councilman <br />Toth reported to the Council that the Building Inspector was now looking <br />-into the matter and that as more information became available it would be <br />brought to the City Council. <br /> <br />10 1/2. New Personnel <br /> <br />The City Administrator explained a request for a part-time Elk River <br />Senior High School Office Education worker to be hired immediately. <br />COUNCILMAN OTTO MOVED THAT THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR BE ALLOWED TO HIRE <br />AN OFFICE EDUCATION \fORKER AT THE RATE OF $2.50 PER HOUR. COUNCILMAN <br />DUITSMAN SECONDED THE MOTImi. MOTION PASSED 3-1. TOTH OPPOSED. <br /> <br />MOTION BY COUNCILMAN OTTO TO ADJOURN THE ~ING. SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN <br />ENGSTROM.
